More Lake Fun

We've had a great time at the lake.  Here are a few activities from the last couple days of the trip.

We did a fun little hike on our last full day to Carpenter Falls.

Sad to leave, but on our way home, Maya got to welcome everyone aboard thanks to some very nice pilots.

Sailors and Chefs

Another day lake activities...

 The cottage that never changes.

Gram admires a game of Uno with a requisite bowl of cereal on the ready for snacking.

Pop loves sailing.  He really loves sailing.  I think he sailed back and forth to the dock with various people for about 5 hours.

Social hour on the dock.  Today Betsy and Ron arrived.  The Wickwires came by for a while.

Life is good.

Another Lake Day

We had another great day.  We were excited that Cody and her fiancé, Dave, came to say hello.

 Maya preps for a solo journey.

There is a boat that people on a ride from Skaneateles Village to our side of the lake and they deliver "mail" to the next door Higgins dock each day.  Always fun to get the mail from them.

Maya attempted waterskiing for the first time.  She did not succeed.  But Momma managed to get up on two skies.

What You Do at the Lake

There are many things to do at the lake.  Here are some of them...

Breakfast, of course.
