Only one more full day left. Luckily it was packed with fun including Kalea's birthday.
The next day Dexter was out sledding.
Puzzles were getting completed.
It was Kalea's birthday! Sorry! was played in celebration.
In a lovely surprise, Katie and Bryson and Susie and Scott came by for a brief lunchtime hello.
Walking with Scott and Susie after lunch.
Susie is still recovering from her hiking accident, hence the walking stick and the cletted boots.
Another lovely day.
Bowling for Kalea's birthday followed.
Wow...look at those amazing bowlers.
Dinner afterward.
Finally it was time for the annual gingerbread house contest. Dexter's creation shows creativity by making his own mailbox and walkway.
Kalea's shows off some fine piping work.
Maya has some nice touches with the snowy roof, the characters outside the door and owl perched on top.
Santi had a very ambitious plan to rethink the whole concept, but ran into some issues with the frosting holding everything together.
During his presentation, he worked around his issues with a digital component to enhance his design. Props for originality here.
The next morning we had to get on our way. Another Colorado Xmas in the books.
