5 Months, More New Year's Eve Excitement

Our New Year's Eve day was packed with people and parties, but our evening was a little less dramatic. The festivities included breastmilk, story time, hearing the distant fireworks from our bedroom, and Todd waking up Kearsley at midnight. Yeah...jealous?

"What are you trying to pull?"

Maya and Lily share an intimate moment.

Happy New Year!

5 Months, Leo's New Year's Eve birthday bash

Our day wasn't over yet. Lucky for us, our good friends, Sarah and Eric and their little boy, Leo, were in town to visit their family. They decided to have a birthday party for Leo's 2nd birthday and we were invited.

Leo enjoys his new cars.

5 Months, New Year's Eve with Jake and Brandon

We went on a New Year's Eve stroll up to the top of one of the hills near our house where we met up with Jake and Brandon.

Near the top. Brandon and Jake are waving from above.

Jake is suited up for the big night, Brandon is going for a more casual (and normal) approach.

Looking back toward our house in Eureka Valley (the Castro)

Closer view of Caselli Ave. Our house has the dark roof and is the one closest to the apartment building at the top of the street where the cars are parked perpendicular near the center of the picture.

Our city.

Our family

Jake has a way with children (we're not sure it's the right way).

"Mom and Dad, whatever you do, don't put this picture of me on the blog."

5 Months, New Year's Eve with Kathy and Sadie

On December 31st, Kathy and Sadie came over to visit during the day. Sadie is a few days older than Maya and much wiser.

Maya waits with anticipation for Sadie.
