Well, we did it. We embarked on our first overseas adventure with the kids. Mom's second cousin was getting married and that started what will be an epic trip to both Australia and New Zealand.
After 15 tedious hours of flying, we arrive in Sydney in the morning.
Mary, an second Aunt/Cousin (and overseas mother to Kearsley when she lived in Australia for nearly a year back in 1997), came to the airport to pick us up. We don't have a photo of her, but she kindly served us croissants and coffee until we could check in to our Air B&B.
