Community Engagement

Before Covid, Maya was planning a community service project which involved cooking for a community group home. She was supposed to do it with her friend, but we ended up going it alone with the stay-at-home order.

We needed make large quantities of food for a group home. She made chicken enchiladas verde, black beans, broccoli, and rice crispy treats.
Salsa verde anyone?
So much chicken to shred.
Shredded.

Enchiladas are almost done.

Radishes for garnish.

We made enough to eat some for dinner. Yum!!!

Haircuts

Well, it's come to this.

Momma's never used the clippers before. What could go wrong?

This will look fabulous

Daddy survived his first haircut from Mom.

It turned out reasonably well.

While Daddy got his haircut, these guys were making a fairy house.

Dexter's haircut time.

This one's harder.

Getting there.

Done! We did it!

At-Home Birthday

Momma had her birthday today. Todd got a bunch of people to wish her happy birthday via video which was amazing. As usual we spent the day at home.

Pickleball is an at-home thrill.

Happy Birthday!

Stay at Home Easter

Easter is here.

The day before we colored eggs in prepartion for Easter Bunny.

The bunny has arrived. This year he just got a socially distanced ride through town.

Easter Bunny leaves clues for the Easter basket.

Egg hunt!

Dexter's egg...and look at that hair!

Eggs everywhere.

Admiring eggs.

Nice work.

Now eggs are shelled and it's time to make them even more delicious.

Lots of deviled eggs.

Yum!!

Stuff and Things

Life is this.

Hardcore hugging.

Why buy a game when you can print it and make it yourself? This one is the family edition of Cards Against Humanity.

Cutting out cards is more fun when the word "butt" and "poop" are prominently featured on the cards.

Todd found this pairing to be quite humorous.

Enjoying slugs.

Yellow and slimy.

The New Routine

Life has gotten a bit simpler.

Dexter gets more time to hang with Dad.

Happy hour now looks like this.

Walks. So many walks.

It's quiet out there.
