Glow-Worms and Rare Birds

We left Queenstown and headed for Te Anau in search of glow worms and fiords.

 Luxuriating for the last morning in our nice Queenstown spot.

 New Zealanders love zip lines which they call "flying foxes." When we reached Te Anau, we loved the park with its flying foxes. 

On another boat across lake Te Anau to see some of New Zealand's famous glow worms.

No photos were allowed in the glow-worm tunnels, so this is the last shot of us walking into the cave. The cave was amazing and once deep inside, you get in a little boat and float under the cave walls that look like a starry sky thanks to the glowing worms.

In Te Anau, we went to this bird preserve and saw a glimpse of the very rare Takahe.
