Maya's First Day at a NEW School

Maya (and her parents) are jumping in to a new independent school.  Mark Day School is a school that is just to the North in San Rafael.  It's a big change and we are all excited and a little nervous for the big change.

Dexter starts "Kindergarten"

Dexter started his last year at his Montessori school.  He is in their kindergarten program, but because of his birthday being just after the cut-off, he will go to kindergarten again next year.  So, don't be surprised when you see his first day of kindergarten again next year.

The Last Hurrah

After going to Colorado, we only had a few days before school started.  We had a bit of fun before returning to the salt mines.

First we made a trip to the zoo with the Noll clan.  Nick and Teddy are friends forever.

We had a great time.  Now it's time to head home.

Day Two on the Mountain

Because of rain, we got to go up the mountain one more time to continue our adventures which included a very cool zipline that Mommy and Maya did together and tubing (both not pictured). We also had more fun (pictured below).

After mastering the lower course, Mommy and Maya take on the higher course.  Maya thought it was fun.  Momma (pictured above) had a more "difficult" time.

Mountain Adventure

There are some big adventures on Vail mountain over the summer.  We headed up the gondola to find some fun!  Dexter was a little hesitant at first, but he loved it once he got going.

Now, Mom and Dex.  Right after this they closed the park because of lightning, so we go a raincheck for tomorrow.  More adventures await.

Off to CO

Dad had to work, but Momma, Maya, and Dexter headed to Colorado to spend some time with Lulu and Pop.  They were staying up in Vail, so we missed our usual stop in Evergreen all together.
