"Couch Baby" video

Here's yet another short video from early November.

3 Months, Layla and Brighton

Layla and Brighton made a trip across the bridge to visit us in the city on November 5th. We went to the playground. Fun!

3 Months, Blake Brunch

Blake Tucker came by on Sunday, November 4th, to meet Maya and cook us a delicious brunch. He and Maya became friends right away.

Blake makes us delicious mushroom omelets and scones.

Maya waits while Blake makes breakfast.

After brunch, we went for a quick stroll up to Kite Hill to work off some of those scones.

"Reading 'A Little Kitten'" video

Maya loves storytime. Please join us for a reading of A Little Kitten.

"Playing With Mommy" video

We're back!

Here's a video from when Maya was still less than four months old. Today, as she's nearing the five month mark, she is very ticklish and giggles and laughs like crazy. But back in early November, we were still learning how to extract chuckles out of little Maya.

3 Months, Halloween Fun

On Halloween, Maya donned her bunny outfit again. Kearsley paid a visit to the Gordon household for a visit and a haircut. Maya couldn't wait to show little Malia her cool outfit.

Boo!

The next day, Kearsley and Maya headed to Pixar for the annual Halloween kiddie parade. There were tons of kids there and it was a great chance to see the Pixar gang and their families.

3 Months, Sneaky

Maya is swaddled (wrapped tightly in a blanket) every night before bed. As she's gotten older, she wriggles around a lot. Sometimes she moves to different positions in the crib or breaks out of the swaddle. This time, she managed to wriggle up out of her shirt and the blanket. This is what we discovered when we came into her room in the morning on October 28th (WARNING - Viewer Discretion Advised):

"Why, hello there."

Pretty funny!

3 Months, Halloween at the Zoo

Pre-Halloween weekend fun included a trip to the Zoo on October 27. Maya dressed up as a bunny. The Zoo had a bunch of Halloween events going on including Stomp and Chomp where various animals would stomp and chomp on pumpkins and other Halloween treats. Tons of kids were there in their costumes. Pretty fun!

3 Months, Tummy Time

Parents out there know that every baby is supposed to get their tummy time. It was quite a victory when Maya could actually hold her head up and comfortably look around. Way to go Maya!

3 Months, Papa and Grammy Visit, Part II

Papa and Grammy spent a few more days with us. They babysat on Sunday night (10/21) so that we could go out to dinner (which was SO NICE). They met up with Todd at ILM a couple of times and did some visited some of their old favorite spots like the Ferry Building and some new ones like Japantown. Of course, they enjoyed seeing Maya whenever they could.

On Saturday, we enjoyed brunch at our favorite breakfast place, Le Zinc.

Grammy's a pro with bottle feeding.

Yum!

The weather was fantastic so Maya wanted to see a view of San Francisco, so we drove to the top of Twin Peaks.

Don't worry. This isn't as Michael Jackson as it looks.

Then we went over to the de Young Museum and botanical gardens in Golden Gate Park. Very nice.
