Here's yet another short video from early November.
Layla and Brighton made a trip across the bridge to visit us in the city on November 5th. We went to the playground. Fun!
Here's another video from early November, of Mommy playing peek-a-boo with Maya. She's just a little smile machine.
Blake Tucker came by on Sunday, November 4th, to meet Maya and cook us a delicious brunch. He and Maya became friends right away.
Maya loves storytime. Please join us for a reading of A Little Kitten.
We're back!
Here's a video from when Maya was still less than four months old. Today, as she's nearing the five month mark, she is very ticklish and giggles and laughs like crazy. But back in early November, we were still learning how to extract chuckles out of little Maya.
From November 3, 2007.
On Halloween, Maya donned her bunny outfit again. Kearsley paid a visit to the Gordon household for a visit and a haircut. Maya couldn't wait to show little Malia her cool outfit.
Maya is swaddled (wrapped tightly in a blanket) every night before bed. As she's gotten older, she wriggles around a lot. Sometimes she moves to different positions in the crib or breaks out of the swaddle. This time, she managed to wriggle up out of her shirt and the blanket. This is what we discovered when we came into her room in the morning on October 28th (WARNING - Viewer Discretion Advised):
Parents out there know that every baby is supposed to get their tummy time. It was quite a victory when Maya could actually hold her head up and comfortably look around. Way to go Maya!
Papa and Grammy spent a few more days with us. They babysat on Sunday night (10/21) so that we could go out to dinner (which was SO NICE). They met up with Todd at ILM a couple of times and did some visited some of their old favorite spots like the Ferry Building and some new ones like Japantown. Of course, they enjoyed seeing Maya whenever they could.
October 19th, Papa and Grammy got to meet Maya for the first time. She was so excited to see them.
