We are very excited to announce that Maya will soon be a big sister. Maya's had to be very patient with a very tired and nauseated mommy for the past few months. Luckily Momma's feeling much better and Maya is very excited about becoming a big sister.
Today we had the 19 week ultrasound and were so relieved that baby looks very healthy. We also discovered that baby is a boy! During Maya's big ultrasound when she was 19 weeks, she was very stretched out and even arched her back at times so it was very easy to understand what we were looking at. This little guy was curled up in a ball for most of the survey with the technician having to do a little extra work to get her measurements. We were confused much of the time and consistently asking questions like, "That's the head right?" and the tech would then say, "No that's the stomach." Oh well...let's just hope his body parts are a little more easy to identify when he's on the outside.
Here are a few of the first baby pics...
