Homeward Bound

Sadly, after ice caves, skiing, gluing together cuts, and eating antelope, it was time to say goodbye.

 One last story.

Ice Cave

While some of us stayed inside, other completed the epic ice cave.

The insiders play Yamslam and stay warm.

It got dark before Katie, Lizzie, and Maya were finished, so they added candles!  Here it is...

Mommy was able to squeeze in with Dexter.

One could call it "cozy."

Maya worked for hours with her cousins on this structure.  She was quite pleased.

There was an incident before dinner involving a glass candle holder and Susie.  There were several nasty looking cuts in her hand.  Luckily there was a PA in the house and his trusty assistant, Mommy.

Skiing!

We have not gone skiing in what might be 10 years or so.  Thanks to a very kind and persuasive Bozeman family, we made it out to Bridger Bowl.  Dexter stayed home with Susie and Maya came with us for her first day of skiing ever. 

Mommy and Maya eat a quick breakfast before Maya started her first day of skiing ever with her first ski lesson ever.

We skied on our own for a little bit, then Lizzie, Katie, and Scott joined us.  Daddy waits at the bottom for Maya's lesson to end.

Seriously White Christmas

It definitely felt like a winter wonderland when we woke up on Christmas day.  

 Good morning!

 We were lucky enough to be able to stay at the neighbor's home while we were there.  Here is our morning walk across the street for Christmas morning.
