"Mommy Makes Me Smile" video

Mommy is willing to humiliate herself as needed in order to inspire a chuckle or a smile. Maya has a very complex sense of humor as you will see in this video.

6 Months, Maya on the Bed

Here's Maya and Lily (the cat) on the bed on January 22nd.

Maya continues her desperate attempts to befriend the cats.

This is the part where Maya squeals and makes lots of erratic hand motions.

And this is the part where the cat runs away.

Easy come, easy go. Right, Maya?

"Feed Me More" video

What a difference a week makes. On January 19th, only 7 days after her first taste of solid food, Maya appears to be getting into the whole eating thing. You be the judge...

6 Months, Lunch at Randall Museum

Here's a day in the life of Maya on the weekend. On January 19th, we enjoyed some delicious solid food (aka Bananas), went to the Randall Museum and met up with a couple of other families from my mother's group, and went for a walk. Fun!

6 Months, Auntie Courtney

Courtney is heading out for big adventures overseas for 6 months. It's been so much fun having a sister in the same city. We will be sad that she won't around for a little while. But, she'll be back after she finishes her planned sabbatical from work to volunteer in South Africa and travel in South America. She came by just before she started her big trip on January 13th.

Courtney explains the situation.

Maya not taking the news well...

...not well at all.

Have fun and good luck, Courtney!

6 Months, Mother's Group

On January 12th, Kearsley went to one of her planned meetings with members of her mother's group at Sarah Dempsey's house. All the babies are getting to the age where they can interact more with each other. The pictures below were taken by other ladies in the group. They were so cute we had to post them.
