Halloween Night

After school, it was time for the big night.  Someone was VERY excited.  The weather was rainy, but it was still fun.

 After some rainy trick or treating, Maya becomes a witch giving out candy.  She's holding a scary cat in her rocking chair.  Creepy.

Before bed she decides to wait for a few more people inside in her pajamas.  Still creepy.

Halloween At School

On Halloween, there were some fun activities and then a parade in costume.  Momma got a babysitter for Dexter so she could help with the activities and the parade.  Very fun!

Pumpkin Carving

We had a great time carving pumpkins in San Francisco with Nick, Teddy, and family.

Giants in the World Series is pretty cool.  Being dedicated fair-weather fans, we geared up for the final games.

Pumpkin Patch

It's that time of year again.  This year we went to Peter Pumpkin Patch in Petaluma which is also home to Spring Hill Cheese.  We saw lots of cows there and Maya actually milked one which consisted of her getting to pull an udder of an unhappy cow a couple times.  We also went on a hayride, enjoyed some fiddle music, and found some pumpkins in an actual growing patch.

Pirate Party

Maya got invited to her first party for kindergarteners.  Here new classmate Andrew invited her to a pirate party.  His family went all out for to create a full pirate experience.

Queen Mary

For our dear friend Allen's 40th birthday, his wife planned a wonderful surprise party for him on the Queen Mary in Long Beach.  We decided to attend the party and flew down for one night staying on the Queen Mary overnight.  It was an emotional journey leaving our 1 and 5 year-old with our trusty babysitter, but we did it.  The ship was very cool and Titanic-esque.  Everyone survived and we had a great time being jetsetters for 24 hours.  Allen's party was so much fun.  We forgot our camera for the event, but we got a few shots beforehand.
