10 Months, Attention Getter

On May 12th we headed home, and Momma tried to subtly feed Maya in the airport. Let's just say that Maya doesn't stay undercover very well these days. If she wasn't kicking and pulling at the nursing cover, she was peeking her head out at passers by and Daddy.

Over the Mother's Day weekend, Sam got out his fancy photographic equipment and took a few planned photos. Sears Portrait Studio, eat your heart out.

10 Months, Meeting Maddie

We couldn't help ourselves and just HAD to take a trip down to LA to meet Maddie Page (Sam and Jess' little cutie). Maddie was 6.5 weeks old when we visited on May 10th. The new parents were already operating as a well oiled machine making it look easy. Maddie's a lucky lady. It was a blast from the past for us to help take care of a newborn and it was a lot of fun to spend our first official Mother's Day together.

Maya was thrilled to meet her best friend and seem to instinctively realize that she had to be gentle with her.

Most of the pictures below were taken by Sam Page (or with his camera). Armed with a wonderful camera and a great eye, Sam got some amazing shots.

Maya remembers this familiar abode, but there seems to be someone new living here.
