Pools and Camping

The days keep on keeping on, but we've found a few fun ways to pass the time.

A very kind neighborhood friend was out-of-town and invited us to use their pool. It was wonderful!

The Hare/Nolls created a temporary pool solution and we enjoyed some outdoor time with them.

Trinity Lake

On our last day at our lake cabin we decided to drive to nearby Trinity Lake for a short hike before heading home.

A River Runs Through It

After being home for months, we found an Airbnb house in the Lewiston area right next to the Trinity river. There were only three houses within miles and it was fun although we happened to hit a crazy heat wave.

The house was above the river, but just down a path and a little ladder, we got to this.

 Vacation!

While we got no pictures on the river, we drove about a mile or so upriver and then tubed to our house. It was fun and we survived.

Father's Day and B-Day!

It's that time of year. Father's Day and birthday fun for Daddio.

Summer's Here...At Home

Well, the school year is over. We are still doing the same stuff.

Dexter Visits the ER

Maya and Dexter were playing in her room when Maya flung Dexter into the bed and he managed to hit his head in just the right way that he needed stitches. Of course it's Sunday at 9:30pm so the ER was the only option.

Waiting to get stitches....Nintendo eases the pain.

Four stitches later, mission accomplished.

Maya was so glad that her brother was okay.
