Impromptu Disneyland

On the weekend after winter break ended, Todd got the opportunity to get to ride "Rise of the Resistance" before it opens in Disneyland. We drove down to LA for a very quick Disney adventure.

After school, we drove down to LA on Friday night. We didn't arrive at the Disneyland Hotel until 10pm. This meant waking up at the crack of dawn on Saturday to take advantage of Magic Morning was very difficult.

Welcome to Disney...where we all wait in line together.

Let's get the fun started.

There's a castle here and stuff.

We made sure we got in good position to get in line early for "Smuggler's Run."

Our first real look at the new Star Wars land. They did a great job.

Very cool.

Playing games on Millennium Falcon.

Fun ride! Daddy did a little work on it.

Walking to get to our turn in line for "Rise of the Resistance."

Inside the ride. A cool waiting area with live actors and animatronics.

Very cool.

Waiting for our transport.

In the transport. This is where all of Todd's huge screens are. It very elaborate.

Trying on helmets after our adventure.

Another view of the Star Wars world.

Getting to check out a special version of the new Star Tours. Very fun!

It's tiring walking everywhere.

Look, Jessie's walking around.

Disney portraits.

This was Dexter's very favorite thing last time we were here.

We were here...see!!!

Energy running out, one of our last rides was the carousel.
