We'll Miss You

Well, we got our Covid tests back and thankfully no Covid. The kids were feeling better just in time for our trip to Wrigley.

We just liked this Hot Dog stand that we passed going back and forth to the AirBnB.

We are ready for baseball thanks to Shelly who secured the tickets.

Colds Are Annoying During COVID

So, the night we arrived in Chicago, both kids seemed to be getting the cold that Santi had while we were in New York. Santi was tested and didn't have COVID, but we couldn't be sure that it was nothing. So, we decided to move to an AirBnB and reduce our contact with Grammy and Papa until we could get our PCR test back.

Luckily, we found a very cute place in Joliet, about 15 minutes away where each kid got their own room and their own TV. They were pleased with the setup. 

We were also pleased to discover the location of the front of the jail from "The Blues Brothers."

Chicago Time

After our time in NY, it was now time for the second half of our vacation in Chicago with Dad's family.

We are off to Chicago.

We've arrived at Grammy and Papa's and it's time for another late birthday party for Maya. Grammy shows Maya her cake in progress.
