Eclipse And Other Delights

Today was a busy one.  First, Maya dances like a maniac at her friend Naia's party.  Then, it was time for a trip to nursery to get some summer plants for the garden. The day finished with sweet eclipsy goodness.

On our trip to the nursery, we decided to pick up a container full of ladybugs which we set free at the start of the eclipse.

Riley and her family came over, and the girls were more delighted with the ladybugs than a crazy sun.

Riley's dad, Nick, showed us this cool trick. Make a tiny hole with your at the center of your fist and it makes a crescent.

Little Teddy

Mommy and Dexter got to meet a very adorable little newborn in San Francisco today.  This is little Teddy (Edward) born on May 1st. He is the new little brother for Nick and the new best friend for Dexter.
