Saturday was without an event for the wedding, so we decided to get together with Simon and his family. Kearsley became friends with Simon when they worked together in Sydney 20 years ago and they've stayed friend. He is now married to Lara and they have two lovely children, Serena and Hugo.
Take public transport in Sydney is a beautiful experience. We took the train to the ferry terminal and then got a scenic ride across the bay to the zoo.

After the zoo, we headed back through the city and stopped at this fountain where Kearsley helped out while they were filming The Matrix 20 years ago. This is where the shot the scene with the woman with the red dress.

After the zoo, we went back to Mary and Tim's house for a lovely night-before-wedding Fijian curry dinner.
Dexter was having a fabulous time telling endless jokes to the family.
