We had a very fun visit with Marimar for 5 days. Unfortunately, Santi and Oscar stayed in Mexico, but Maya had a wonderful time with her aunt. We did a lot of fun stuff together including going to Brighton's 3rd birthday in Fairyland in Oakland.
What is Fairyland? Well, it's been around for 60 years and was one of the inspirations for Disneyland. Imagine a strange little place with farm animals, childsized rides, puppet shows, bubbles, and some really bizarre conceptions of various fairytales...in other words, kiddie crack.
Brighton's 3rd birthday was a lot of fun. We got to spend time with some of Brighton's wonderful friends and then enjoy a Mexican feast. Yay!

The 3 year-olds decided to ride on the mini Ferris Wheel. Because it's so tiny, adults couldn't ride. I wasn't sure if little Maya would like being put in a car with her new friend, Olivia, but she did great!
