Floral Artist

Every year, the kids at Dexter's school learn about Ikebana flower arranging.  Dexter is loves creating very sparse, sculptural ones.  The pictures don't really do this one justice.

We had a fun beach day with Nick and Teddy's family.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day came in two parts for Mama this year...

First Dexter's kindergarten class created a Mother's day event for us.  It included tea, fruit, cookies, a card and a hand embroidered napkin.

All the moms got very cool flower crowns.

On actual Mother's Day.  Momma got a yummy breakfast in bed from two little kids.

 

 Later we all went for a family bike ride.

Maya Tells Her Story

Maya's class presented tales of their trip to Gold Country in a fun evening gathering.  We heard their stories by a 'campfire,' danced, and gambled.  Good wholesome fun.

Girl Scouts Ropes Course

For the final activity for Maya's Girl Scout troop, we used some of our cookie money to go to the ropes course at Bothin for our own private session.

Giants, Comics, and Celery

 As part of Todd's winnings at this year's Trivia Night fundraiser, he earned Giants tickets, which turned into a daddy-daughter night of baseball.
