"Dexter's New Year's Resolution" video

At the kids' school, they emphasize helping kids get comfortable sharing in front of groups. Kindergarteners have their first opportunity to speak in front of the school when they share their New Year's resolutions.  Dexter was first to go in his class after another whole class of kindergarteners had said their resolutions. It's hard to appreciate on video, but he was very confident even adding a "good morning" before saying his name. The audience reacts because it was so different from the soft spoken resolutions that preceded him.

Marching Again

Mom was back at the Women's March which has become a necessary annual event.

New Year, New Adventures

We may be back, but we are trying to keep it fresh.

For years, the SMART train connecting San Rafael to Sonoma county has been under construction. This summer it opened and today we finally took our first trip with friend to see a movie in Petaluma.
