Maya's 16th a Little Early

Maya is very close to being 16 and she decided to have a movie party. Because everyone leaves town over the summer, we scheduled the party the day after school ended. We rented out the Jean Cocteau Cinema owned by George R.R. Martin (think Game of Thrones). Party time!

Diablo Canyon

We decided to take another hike. 

Diablo Canyon is just outside Santa Fe.  First you walk through this bit of canyon.

Here we go.

Then, a very long walk to the Rio Grande River.

We made it.

The water is high.

Parents are being good sports.

Then the very long walk back.

Back to the canyon on our way out. 

End of School Year Excitements

As our second school year in Santa Fe is coming to a close, we are having fun.
