Zozobra Fail

This year was the 100th year celebration of Zozobra. It's a crazy excuse to burn a goth looking giant puppet that we've enjoyed two years previously. This year they let in too many people and we couldn't get across the bridge and get a good view. Bad crowd control made this not a fun evening.

Back To School - Together Again

These two have been reunited at the same school for the last time - probably ever. Dexter starts 7th grade at Santa Fe Prep and Maya begins her senior year. And finally a school shot in front of our new house.

These two together one last school year.

Dexter Gets Braces

Well, modern orthodontia catches up with all of us at some point. While Dexter's teeth are much less complex to straighten than Maya's - he still needs two years of braces - starting today. Sorry buddy!

Last Day in Big Apple

A quick trip to the Met before heading home.

Columbia and Pizza

Our next day in NYC included a sweet tour of Columbia University NYU  and NY style pizza. 

Columbia University is extremely impressive in its grand architecture.

Bike Riding, Natural History, Vietnamese Food

On our first full day in NYC we enjoyed some activities near our hotel on the Upper West Side.
