On April 12th, we decided to show Maya the Golden Gate Bridge and have a nice picnic at Chrissy field. Maya decided to wear a skirt in celebration of the great weather. Little did she know that she was about to meet her nemesis...sand.

"Oh, the humanity!"Maya was VERY upset by the cold sand. Picking her up and giving her a hug wasn't enough. Walking back away from the water wasn't enough. She didn't stop crying until we left the beach and brushed the sand off her toes. Todd also has an aversion to sand...he's not much of long walks barefoot in the sand kind of guy. Who knew that the fear of sand is genetic.
