Ann Visits

We were so happy to have a visit from our wonderful doula, Ann. She was our doula for Maya's birth and was with us again for the birth of Dexter. She has a warm, strong, and calming spirit and was a great support and guide for both deliveries. Needless to say, we were far more relaxed today than we were last time we saw her.

Mother's Group: The Sequel

Momma joined a new mother's group to meet some new ladies with Dexter style kiddies. She went to the first gathering when Dexter was only 3 weeks old. Now with Dexter at almost 8 weeks, we had our 4th gathering at our place. Lots of lovely babies and their mommas from the San Rafael area.

The Kids

Say hello to our three children. One of them may not get quite the level of attention of the other two. I guess we are guilty of a bit of favoritism.

This is our new arrival, Dexter, who is sporting an adorable outfit from the Kender Page.

He is very happy about it as you can see.

This is Lily. She is our cat. We love her in a get-out-my-face-and-stop-meowing-while-we-are-sleeping kind of way.

Officially, we declared that Dexter smiled while awake and looking at us on October 19th. However, it took us a while to obtain photographic evidence. Hooray for some positive and very cute feedback.

The Kender Page Meet The Dexter

Happily for us, the Kender Page family made a trip up to the Bay Area and we got to spend a few glorious days with them. Dexter is currently going through puberty on his way from newborn to baby which includes acne and hair loss. Lucky guy. We still think he's cute and he loved meeting is cool friends from LA. We got a few photos...but their blog has more great pics and pics and pics and pics.

The three Ms - Maddie, Max, and Maya had a great time playing together. Pulling out the trundle and jumping proved to be a big hit.

The Great Halloween Odyssey

Maya doesn't just like Halloween, she loves it! This year, the little lady chose her own costume and was so excited when the big day arrived. Here are some photos of Maya's Halloween bliss and Dexter's introduction to the big night. I'm sure he'll remember it fondly.

Back at the fort, Momma handed out candy with Dexter and our good friend Don until everyone returned. In this shot, everyone is back including Layne and Karin.
