Last Day of School - Really This Time

As you may remember, Maya graduated a couple months ago from Little Arrows.  Even though she graduated, she was still attending 'summer camp' there until now.  Today, we cleaned out Maya's little cubby and said our final goodbyes her wonderful teachers.  It's been a a remarkable journey from her first day (exactly two years ago) until now.   Below are some some of her official school shots and a picture our girl today after saying goodbye to Little Arrows.

Maya Graduates From Preschool!

After two short years at her preschool, Little Arrows, Maya is ready for Kindergarten.  Maya was all smiles on the big day while her parents were proud and a little sad to see this chapter come to an end.

First Day of School - Eagle Year

Maya started her first day of school today. She is in her last year of preschool in a group they call Eagles.

Maya's First Graduation

Maya just finished her first year of preschool and has now graduated from her 'Frog' year into the 'Eagle' year (the last year before kindergarten). We had a fun party and little ceremony at her school. Maya was very excited.

The Official First Day

Maya has already been attending 'summer camp' at her new pre-school for a few weeks and she is really loving it. Today, however, marked the first day of the fall session when pre-school gets down to serious bidness.

First Day of Preschool

In a big moment for all of us, Maya started her first day of preschool. The actual school year starts on September 1st, but we decided to start her in the school's "summer camps" for a few weeks to get her used to school. Maya was very excited about the idea until a few days before when she realized that we wouldn't be there with her. Luckily, we kept talking about it and she started warming up to going by herself. The first day went really well with the only tears being shed by Maya's Momma. We can't believe our little girl is so grown up.
