The Final Countdown

There are plans in our future that involve moving so this will likely be the last time the Kender Page crew will be at this particular house with us. We've had a lot of special memories in this house. Our final days together here were fun.

Picking cherries off our lovely tree.

Tea and kitty.

Maya's buddies.

Maya had a quick outing to CVS to get her first COVID shot.

The Kender Page took this shot of us in front of our house to remember it.

We all needed this shot to remember us here together.

Mask Breaks with Friends

Enjoying friends as we begin to feel a bit more freed from Covid restrictions.

Mom heads to the city with Laura for Picasso/Calder exhibit at the de Young Museum.

The Calder mobiles and sculptures were amazing.

We happened upon a relatively new feature near the de Young -- A ferris wheel. So, why not try it out?!

Mask break!

These three have been keeping it real in Gerstle Park since kindergarten. Veronica, Maya, and Violet.

Alcatraz Almost 20 Years Later

We decided to have a little fun in our own city this weekend by touring around Chinatown, Coit Tower, and trip to Alcatraz! Mom and Dad realized that the last time we visited Alcatraz was almost 20 years ago.

Having fun heading down to Chinatown. We didn't get many shots here, but we had some amazing dim sum and enjoyed the morning markets.

Looking back after we took a trip down the crookedest street.

Coit Tower. We couldn't go inside, but we were there!

Very symmetrical.

Kids are hiding from each other.

On the ferry to Alcatraz.

Moody day.

Welcome to Alcatraz. Also the sight of American Indian protests that helped solidify native rights.

Heading up to the main prison, the buildings are decaying, but the wildlife is thriving. Big flower.

Another view of big flower.

Dexter-sized station.

First time seeing a seagull nest. There were many nests everywhere.

Pretty decay.

Million dollar view from the top of Alcatraz.

Time to go into the prison.

The newest prisoners.

Inside the jail.

Uh oh.

Audio tour over the phone.

Pleasant.

Heading back to the dock.

Last look back.
