World Series

We made some plans to watch one of the World Series games with some friends in San Francisco, but sickness thwarted that plan.  Luckily, Jake and Sophie took us in and we had a great time watching the game with them.

About to head to the city.

Plan thwarted.

Jake, Sophie and Melodie save the day. And, the Giants win!!

Ghosts Part 2

Dexter wanted to be a ghost for a while, but promptly changed his mind after Momma made him a this costume...

Pumpkin Time

This year we went to Tolay Fall Festival in Sonoma to collect our pumpkins for Halloween.  The place has a bunch of fun kid activities.  Maya spun wool and we all hung out with some farm animals and ate lunch.  The best part was the hayride out to the pumpkin patch.

Dexter checks out the hayride returning.

Waiting for our ride to the pumpkin patch.

 To the pumpkins!!

 Almost there.

 In the patch.

 Dexter scores.

 Nice pumpkin.

Waiting in the very hot sun for the ride back.

Let's Learn About Jelly Beans

The first field trip of the year for the 2nd graders was a trip to the Jelly Belly Factory.  I suppose they learned a little something.

Momma was one of the parent drivers.  These were the kiddies in the sweet minivan: Erin, Maya, and Sophia.

Waiting in line for tour with all the 2nd graders.

Babysitter and King Kong

These photos are not related, but this is what's happening these days!

Elizabeth, our wonderful friend and babysitter, and two people who think she is awesome.

Maya got drawing after she saw the 1933 version of "King Kong."

She created drawings for the whole movie.  Here is the starlet, Ann Darrow, being kidnapped by the natives from the island.
