It's been a tough summer for the whole family. When Dad broke his ankle we thought that we wouldn't be able to make our planned trip to the Pacific Northwest, but desperation make us get creative and rework the trip so that it would work with our less mobile family member. Plans were modified so that we were no longer making it a big road trip and we decided to spend most of our time around Seattle.
Dad, who is now able to put some weight on his leg, still can't walk, so we're having fun with crutches at the airport.
