8 Months, Cornered

Maya's been getting closer and closer to crawling. Her latest technique involves spinning in circles and slowly moving around the room that way. On April 4th, Maya spun herself into a new spot in the living room.

Maya recently made friends with Nick (who has a very nice mom named Laura). Nick is one day older than Maya. On April 4th, Maya shows her affection in a polite and sophisticated manner...

On March 30th, the giraffe taunted Maya. Someday she will get revenge.

Giraffe positions himself just out of reach.

"Bet you wish you could reach me," says Giraffe.

"...move my crazy legs. I will get you, Giraffe. Someday."

On March 29th, we went down to the Castro in the 'fancy' stroller. It was easy going down, coming up was a different story...

Almost home...our house is the gray one on the very gentle slope.

8 Months, Easter

On March 23rd, Maya celebrated her first Easter. We had a great day of playing with Easter eggs and visiting our friend Julie's family.

8 Months, Slappy Arrives!

On March 23rd we got some great news. The day before, March 22nd, Madeline Amelia Theodora Page (aka Slappy) was born. We've been waiting in great anticipation for our friends, Sam and Jess to become parents. Maya was so excited she wrote a text message to the new family.

Later we got some adorable pics of the new family. Here's one of our favorites:

On March 21st, Maya finally gets sick of her picture crazed parents.

On March 20th, we met Daddy at work for lunch. Maya enjoys Industrial Light and Magic's nice facility at the Presidio, but she likes seeing Daddy most of all.

Then we went home, and let's just say Maya had some issues with her dinner.

8 Months, Cute Hat

Does wearing a new cute hat deserve it's own blog entry? Probably not. But, it is a cute hat...and Maya is wearing it. From March 18th:
