After a lovely breakfast in Wanaka, we made our way to Puzzling World and then drove on to Queenstown where we went luging.
Enjoying the beach park in Wanaka.
There is a fun playground here and we wanted to mimic a photo that the Kender Page took at this very spot about a month prior. Strange to think they were in the same spot across the world just before us.
This sculpture was a favorite.
Having fun.
Now with Dad.
We stopped at Puzzling World which is a pretty cool place.
Enjoy the incredible shrinking and growing people.
You may be wondering who the kid is with Momma. So are we.
Never gets old.
Dexter sits on a floating bench.
Of course we had to try the maze.
This is quite a challenging activity.
"Where are we?"
We did a pretty good job.
We got to all four towers, but we couldn't get to the exit without cheating.
Another epic vista on our way into Queenstown.
On to the next adventure.
In Queenstown, we ended up on a gondola.
Queenstown below.
Yes, we are going to luge.
Dexter was extremely nervous, but he made it down... twice.
Happy about being brave. (You might be thinking that his helmet is too loose and not positioned correctly. You would be correct. The good news is that we all made it out fine.)
The chairlift for the luge.
On top of the world.
Momma insisted that we do a little hiking around the mountain by the gondola. We found ourselves on this track that summits some of the high peaks nearby. We only walked on it for a while, but it provided some amazing views.
Enjoying the quiet...
...and the view.
Beautiful New Zealand.
