Lulu had to head back to Colorado after staying with us for two weeks. She left the day after we came home. Here she is enjoying a little time with her two grandchildren.

Dexter Comes Home

We decided to stay two nights at the hospital to recover a bit more before heading home. Maya enjoyed her time with Lulu and Pop and came to visit on Monday. On Tuesday, we made our way home with our newest family member.

Introducing Dexter

We are so pleased to introduce Dexter Paul Vaziri born on September 25th at 11:10am. He weighs 9lbs, 2ozs and is 21 inches long. Labor lasted for about 11 hours and involved a more than a few choice expletives, but Mom and Dexter are doing great. Maya is thrilled that her little brother is finally here. We are all so happy to welcome this little guy into our lives.

Lulu and the Zoo

As countdown to baby continues, Lulu came to town to take care of Maya during the big event. She's been here for more than a week, but baby is still illusive. We decided to go to the San Francisco zoo with Laura and Nick to pass the long days in baby limbo.
